Valentines Day @ Jefferson

Today we had our final academic game vs. Jefferson. They are one of our rivals, so we really wanted to win. The first quarter was fine. At the end we trailed by 4 points. At the end of the second, we were down by 2. Third round did great (21/25) so we were ahead by 1. Our fourth round started of slow, but then got explosive. With less then 15 seconds to go, Kearns had the lead by 7. Jefferson answered one more question correctly, making the final score Kearns-55, Jefferson-50. Great game Jefferson!

Super Bowl

This is John. Today is Super Bowl Sunday. It's the Giants vs. the Patriots. I really hope the Giants can win it because they have come so far and have had the toughest road to it. And of course, because they are my team. It's halftime right now, 10-9 for the Patriots, so it's anyone's game, but I really want the Giants to pull it off.

Well, presents are open, fun has happened, and it has been a great day. We went to the cemetery after church, and then opened presents. John got spandex shorts, a duffel bag, and a $70 coupon for bass supplies. Yesterday he got chocolates, a Vince Carter jersey, a card game, and a blanket. Reed got a new jacket, new drumsticks, and a new cymbal with a stand. Yesterday he got a blanket, and an iPod speaker. Both of us got stuffed monsters, a mirror, and a beanie. Thanks everyone!

Thanksgiving

2011 Thanksgiving was awesome!! We went to our grandma's house and ate tons of food and had a lot of fun. We played football first. The team's were me, Reed, Destry, Jon, and Jason vs. Dad, Mark, Ryan, Dylan, and Anna. Our team won by two touchdowns. Uncle Jon had a highlight Pick 6 towards the end of the game, sealing our victory. We also played bocce ball. Their were 4 teams: Biz and Dar, Me and Reed, Jason and John, and Dad and Anna. Reed and I came back from being in last place and won! After that, we went back to the house and watched the Cowboys vs. Dolphins football game. It was a great game, but unfortunately, the Cowboys won 20 to 19. That's pretty much how our Thanksgiving went down, how did yours go?

Reed: 4.0 GPA, Straight A's, 4.0 CPA, so in other words, the best you can get. (That's 5 in a row for Reed)

John: 3.958 GPA, Straight A's, 1 A-, 4.0 CPA, he missed perfect by 1%.

Sleeping in the Backyard

Well, we have a huge book report for English class due this Wednesday. Luckily for us, our teacher is letting us complete it together. There are three sections, we have done sections 2 and 3, which are the hardest. We really want to show our teacher that we are top notch students. We are really close to finishing, and I'm glad. At the Farm

Yesterday, we went to Jake's grandpa's farm. It was so fun. We drove golf carts, played golf, and we just had a blast!! The only down part was that I (John) smashed my leg on the van bumper and bruised the bone pretty bad. But I definitely want to go again!!

Rubik's Cube

This is Reed. Hyrum and I combined money to buy a 4x4x4 Rubik's Cube. I already taught him how to solve a 3x3x3, so that was fun as well. I will post videos to teach you how also. March Madness Updated

Well, BYU lost to Florida after making it to the sweet 16, but it was a great season. The team that we were going for from that point lost tonight as well, but they were an 11 seed and they made it all the way to the final four. They took out the number 1 seed Kansas and not a single 1 seed made it to the final four. Can you guess who that team is?

It's VCU. Otherwise known as Virginia Commonwealth University. They also had a great season, and we were really sad to see that they lost. Well, I guess now we have a long wait until.........

Yesterday we went to young men, and we had to do some pre-requisites for our camp coming up. We had to do some workouts for the athletics merit badge, and then we went out to the track and did a 100 meter dash and and 200 meter dash. Some of us had to do requirements for the music merit badge as well. To wrap it up, we shot goal kicks, and that was really fun.

Today was ward conference at our church. We had a lot of people in our Sunday School class so we finally behaved well. I think it was a pretty good attendance today, so that was good. The All-Star Weekend has been great so far, and I hope it continues.

Scout Camp 2/12

Well, we finished unpacking everything from our campout, and it was awesome! So we got our fingerprinting merit badges, then we went cross country skiing. We got so mad when we fell because we were falling every five seconds. Despite almost breaking our legs a couple of times, it was still fun. Then we went to bed. Well, some of us did. We couldn't sleep because it got to about five or ten degrees below zero. Then we went snowshoeing on a huge mountain. Not only was it big, but also very steep. We almost plunged to certain death a couple of times, but it was fun. Then we got packed and ready to go. When we were done packing, we had some spare time before lunch, so we decided to go tubing. It was a great experience. It was a very bg hill that we had to work so hard to get up and then it all paid off when you felt that snow fly up in your face. Well, that's pretty much all we did there.

(Reed) Today was an A day. You probably already know which classes we have by now. Well there was a valentines dance after school today. It was pretty pointless to me. People weren't even dancing. Today was a "B" Day. We kicked off our day with Spanish. We were supposed to have a substitute, but he/she never came. We went to the French teacher's classroom and just talked the whole time. Then we had to go to Pre-Algebra. The teacher is nice, but it is just the subject. After that we had some lunch. Then we went to band class. It was fun today. After that, we went to English class. We had a substitute. She was pretty nice, but still I don't like that class. Well, overall today was pretty fun.

Today is Monday, and that means that we had to go back to school. We kicked off our day with history class. The class is o.k., but history just isn't really amusing. After we split and went to our different CTE classes. CTE is 3 teachers, and you rotate throughout the year. Then we had some lunch. After lunch we had to go to science class. The class is pretty fun, but it is very hard to pay attention. Finally, we ended off our day with....... Keyboarding :( That class is so boring. We don't know about you, but we cannot type fro 80 minutes straight. Well today was an "A Day", and tomorrow will be a "B Day". That will be fun.

Walking the Dogs

Today is Sunday, the 30th of January, 2011. We went to our aunt's house and walked
her dogs. She has three of them, and our other aunt has two more, all living in the same house! We went to the park to walked them. It was very fun, but it was also very cold. Fun Weekend

We have had a very fun weekend this week. Yesterday there was a PlaneShift party and we beat the utes by 13 points. it has been very exciting playing PlaneShift and one of our characters also is learning blacksmithing. hey Jon, give us a buzz whenever you are getting on and maybe we can help you fight or make you a weapon. yesterday at the party, someone dropped all sorts of good stuff, and we picked up 3 or 4 REALLY rare glyphs like vortex, weapon, and hand we will have to show you. we also have some realm one glyphs we need to get rid of if you want them. thats all for now, bye

All-Star game

If you do not already know, today is the NBA All-Star game. Of course, we are cheering for East. We are crazy about basketball. Also if you did not know, last night was the dunk contest, and by two percent, Nate Robinson won. He jumped over Superman and dunked. Superman is 7 feet tall and Nate is only 5 foot nine. The dunks were not bad. We went to church by ourselves, because our dad had to go to the 10th ward and everyone else was sick. It was great because we did not get bugged by Anna during sacrament meeting. Not much more to say. We hope everyone has a good evening. Bye!!!!

We had a great Christmas this year. We each got a topps jumbo box for this year, a wii, another older card box each. We opened the boxes and I got a Larry Bird jersey card worth 15 dollars, Kevin Garnett jersey card worth 10 dollars, and an O.J. Mayo rookie photoshoot autograph card worth 150 dollars!!!! We also got the complete set worth 50 dollars, and 2 complete rookie sets worth 25 dollars each. For the wii we got wii sports, rayman raving rabbids, wonder world amusement park, and NBA Live 09!!

Christmas is basically here already!!!! Time always flies when you are having fun. I cannot wait to see what I get. I am hoping for a lot of basketball cards. Our collection has been going very well since we wrote last. We have gotten thousands of new cards from grab bags and sealed packs. Not much more to say. We will try to write as much as possible. We have not written in a long time, so I decided to hop on and write for a bit. Christmas is in a month and a half, but it's never to early to start wishing for gifts. Here is our Christmas list for this year:

At least one jumbo basketball card box each, A new outdoor basketball, appliances for our instruments (trombone and clarinet), more basketball, baseball, and football cards, christmas money, books, (if you can afford it), A Julius Erving topps rookie card, toothpaste, christmas soft white tree cookies, snacks, and lots and lots of fruit!!
Note: We love basketball, baseball, and football cards, so that's mostly what we want for this holiday. If you can get us basketball card boxes, we prefer topps and upper deck.

School has been fun but long. You know that feeling when its 15 minutes until school is out, and you are so excited to be free? I love that feeling. I am doing my best to be optimistic and have a positive attitude, but it is hard when you have to sit for 6 and a half hours. I am lucky i have a great teacher, or else i would just be so mad about school. That is all for now.

Hello, this is the dwarf. A lot of stuff has been happening lately. It is sunday and we have been mostly doing stuff with basketball cards. Four days ago, i had my surgery, it turned out quite well and i am not feeling too much pain. I heard U.S.A. won a lot of medals this summer olympics, I also watched a lot of olympics myself. U.S.A. won gold in mens basketball, a couple track and field races, mens and womens beach volleyball, possibly mens water polo, womens soccer, and Shawn Johnson got a gold in gymnastics(followed by Nastia Lukin who got silver)and thats all the golds U.S.A. won that i can think of for now. Great But Short Summer

This is us again. We wanted to say that we have had a great week. We have not been able to blog a lot lately, and that is because we have been at our grandma's house. This is just to tell that we had lots of fun up there. We watched The Two Towers, we played volleyball, we did some gymnastics at the park, ad we went to a card shop and bought some basketball cards. After that, we sorted and traded some cards. We start school tomorrow, and we have had an extremely awsome summer. Comment this post telling what you have done this summer. P.S. Hello, this is us again. We just got on to say that we have been having a fantastic month. There has been our Father's and Son's camp out, and recently we stayed at our grandma's house for four days. It was very great there. We met a really good basketball player there at a park. He was nice. We played at the basketball hoop with him at least once or twice everyday. On our camp out, we had lots of fun. We chased two laser pointers for a lot of the night. We then went snipe hunting. (for those of you who do not know what that is, i will tell you). What snipe hunting is: snipes are birds with red eyes, and in the night they come out of the ground. In order to be sure it is a snipe, you need to clap two logs together. Reed was so close to catching one. The offer of the adults was that if you caught a snipe, you would get sixty dollars.

Some things I remeber about my grandma

This is a post telling you what we remember of our great grandma. She was a very great cook. She cooked us cookies, potatoes, and other main courses and desserts. She always welcomed us in. She let us help around in the garden. We had lots of educational parties and cleaning parties. She lent us money whenever we happened to need it. (She even gave us money to buy any lego set no matter what price!) She was a very good help to everyone in the family. I hope you think our great grandma was a terrific person.

Classic Skating

Hello. This is the elf on a calm Sunday morning. I just wanted to say that yesterday was so fun. We got to go to Classic Skating and Waterslides. We played on the slides for about an hour and a half. Then, we went inside to the skating gym and played some arcade games. That is all for now.

Newborn kittens have to go

About a year ago, we found a mom kitten that was pregnant. We took care of it for about 3 months, and then it had babies!! We took care of the babies, too. We bought them food, we even named them. But when it was time, we had to give them to the animal shelter. It was a very sad moment, but we had records of their footprints and we took lots of pictures.
